When the sun goes down on the last night of summer camp, nine teenage counselors are plunged into an unpredictable night of horror. The only thing worse than the blood-drenched locals and creatures hunting them are the unimaginable choices you must make to help them survive.
The game doesn't support an ultrawide aspect ratio (21:9) and the last patch is mostly incompatible with the mod that allows it. If you set up an ultrawide resolution you will get a letterbox on both sides and upside and downside which is ... well no words. The game and its history of itself are acceptable and worthy for the 80/90 terror era.
Stutters heavily during cutscenes, 6 months after release it still has no way of turning off motion blur
So I loved playing this game the story is descent it was like watching a horror movie, me and my friend bought this game thinking it had multiplayer but unfortunately it does not, this game would have been even better if there was a multiplayer option instead of couch co-op.
Super Massive's best game since Until Dawn. Great cast and fun premise - though admittedly a little less scary than some of their other fare. The game looks and runs great, and was a fun ride (including the ending credits!). That said, I'd love to see a little more fluid control over player characters when in control of their movement, as it can feel slow, stiff, and disorienting. Also fleshing out the tree of decisions (e.g. Detroit: Become Human) to allow players who have completed the game a look into what could've been, and allowing players to fast forward parts they've seen would greatly help with wanting to dive back in for a second or third play-through. Overall, just an excellent effort by the studio!
Ever watch a horror movie and say "I hope that person dies."? Well now you can make sure they do
the only scary thing about this game is its price
